An entertaining, illuminating and somewhat educational idea...
WikiCandidate
http://www.wikicandidate08.com/
First and foremost, WikiCandidate is intended to be a fun site and a vibrant online community. It is also a research project run by graduate students in the Department of Communication of Cornell University. The following is intended to give you an introduction to the site.
...Creating WikiCandidate is a great way to voice your opinion and discuss issues relevant to U.S. politics and the current presidential election. You may be a political activist, a writer, an artist, a student; you may be young or old, a US citizen or an international, of any gender, religion, or political affiliation. If you think that the US presidential election is going to impact your life, WikiCandidate is an outlet for your ideas.
WikiCandidate is also a growing community. The site is a place to socialize with peers, to strengthen the ties of an online or offline group, and to meet and interact with exciting people who share your interests in politics, technology, or both. Feel free to invite friends and spread the word. You can form coalitions of like-minded people to work out positions and provide further support for your views and opinions. If you're a blogger or a YouTuber, you're welcome to create content on other sites and link it to WikiCandidate08.com, or add your blog to WikiCandidate's blogroll. If you're an artist and would like to create materials or merch related to the WikiCandidate campaign, there is a space for you to link it to this site.
WikiCandidate is intended to be an innovative way for you to get involved in the political discussion and meet new people.
Part of the fictional candidates biography:
DeWiki III was home-schooled for the majority of his early life by the family governess Anna Karnegie (also his father’s mistress) who taught the young Julian and his siblings reading, writing, mathematics, languages (Spanish, French, Japanese, and an Eskimo dialect), music (piano, viola and accordion), art and cookery.
